This page describes how KinoLoom handles content moderation and reports. KinoLoom does not host any content itself and is a search/discovery layer on top of third-party platforms.

Automated filtering

Every search query and every result passes through an automated safety filter. Terms and titles that point to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), minors or non-consensual content are rejected before any request is sent to a source. Sources with a lower trust level are subject to a stricter second filtering layer.

User reports (DSA Art. 16)

Every video has a report button. Reports are recorded without personal data and deduplicated against a non-traceable, daily-rotating hash. Once an item reaches the threshold, it is blocked feed-wide for all users.

Serious cases (DSA Art. 34)

Suspicions of CSAM or other serious illegal material are handled with priority and, where applicable, reported to the competent authorities (such as NCMEC, INHOPE, or national hotlines). We cooperate with lawful requests from regulators.

No user data to hand over

Because KinoLoom stores no personal data or viewing history on a server, there is by design no user data that can be subpoenaed, leaked or misused. This is a deliberate choice: less data = less risk for everyone.

Settings can produce an encrypted backup of your on-device profile. That is a file you download and keep — it is never uploaded, and the key never leaves your browser. It does not change the statement above: there is still nothing on our side to hand over. If that ever changes, this page changes with it, in the same release.

Regional access

In countries where the service is not legally permitted, access is blocked. In jurisdictions with stricter requirements, a stricter content mode may apply.

Point of contact (DSA Art. 11 & 12)

Our single electronic point of contact for authorities and for users is info@kinoloom.com. Correspondence is accepted in English and Dutch. Suspected CSAM or non-consensual content is handled with priority — use the report button, or, if urgent, info@kinoloom.com. The in-app report button remains the fastest route for Art. 16 notices and needs no personal data.
